Dennis Nyren

Principal & Director, Capital Markets Group

Mr. Nyren brings more than 49 years business experience to Agent Realty Partners as Principal where he heads up our Capital Market Group. He is an Illinois registered real estate managing  broker and commercial mortgage banker who has more than four decade experience in the financing and sale of commercial real estate nationwide. Mr. Nyren holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Economics from Lake Forest College and a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago (1974). He entered the real estate business in 1977 as a loan officer at Walter E. Heller International Corporation (NYSE) where he subsequently rose to Vice President – Commercial Mortgage Production.

 

Mr. Nyren had previously worked at Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago and The Northern Trust Company of Illinois. In 1983, Mr. Nyren joined Capital Realty Services, Inc. and its related real estate development company, Charles River Development, Inc. as principal. These companies financed, acquired, developed and or managed major real estate projects from California to Massachusetts, including hotels, office buildings, shopping centers, multi-family, industrial, nursing homes and other income producing properties as well as acted as a commercial loan correspondent to major insurance companies. In 1996, Mr. Nyren formed LaSalle Realty & Mortgage Company which was subsequently merged with MJ Partners Capital Services in 2001 to provide commercial real estate mortgage and equity financing and investment sales for its clients. To date, he has financed or sold commercial real estate properties in more than 30 states with a value in excess of $3 billion.

 

Mr. Nyren was formerly a Trustee of Lake Forest College as well as a Director of Lake Forest Open Lands and The Liberty Prairie Conservancy in Grayslake, Illinois and resides in Lake Forest with his family.
